This article was exactly what I needed to read today! Your heartfelt and transparent reflections reminded me that regret doesn’t have to be a weight holding me back; instead, it can be a bridge to deeper grace and healing. I especially resonated with your powerful reframing: “Regret says, ‘I failed.’ Grace says, ‘I grew.’” That shift alone is life-changing and encouraging. It reminded me that every step, even the ones I wish I could redo, contributes to my growth and draws me closer to God’s purpose.

Thank you for the reminder to pray boldly, trusting fully in God’s character rather than in my own limited perspective. Your words have inspired me to release the past, embrace God’s grace, and confidently step forward knowing my story is still unfolding beautifully.

Beautiful reflection on reframing regret. In late adulthood, I too have learned to trust that God’s not finished with me yet and that I can learn from my mistakes instead of hiding them away behind regret. Thank you!

This hit home of the hurt I’ve done to myself. Seeing all of my actions from the past as God’s ways of finishing me:)
